Postal Strikes threaten deliveries this weekend & into next week

Once again there is a postal strike on the horizon.

We recommend any urgent UK & Ireland orders should be placed as soon as possible & to pay for the courier option at checkout.

Any orders that use Royal Mail including international orders & any deliveries where the charge is less than £5.50 are likely to take an additional week to arrive.

Interlink Couriers are not striking thank goodness so do call us if you wish check your parcel is being couriered or to pay the additional cost of upgrading your delivery to the Interlin Courier service.

A New Week of Casting!

Having taken hand & feet casts of Olympic Gold Medallist Tim Brabants on Friday of last week it's back to the office for a busy week of baby casting kits & post.

Once we have his casts Tim wanted to see them so I'll maybe put up a picture on the blog for him!

Mary Peters cast by Creative Casting as part of the 2012 National Lottery Campaign

Northern Ireland’s most famous Olympian was today preparing to return to the track to celebrate her 70th birthday. But Dame Mary Peters will be walking for charity rather than running for gold medals when she puts on her training shoes next month.

Dame Mary began her birthday celebrations early this week by casting her place in Olympic history. The Gold medallist — best known for her glittering athletics career — was at the Mary Peters Track in Belfast yesterday to have her hands and feet cast as part of a National Lottery campaign (above).

The Summer Olympic gold medallist, Dame Mary said she was privileged to be involved in a campaign which recognises the sporting achievements of the UK’s Olympic and Paralympic gold medallists.

She said: “It’s an honour to be part of this wonderful campaign, especially in the run up to the London Olympics. It’s such an exciting time.”

The casting marked the start of Dame Mary’s 70th birthday celebrations and already, plans are in action for the big day on July 6.

A quick blog before I update the site to take off all The Baby Show Offers from the weekend.
